Silver Crescent received on 04 January 2023 an investment license number 460 to invest 244 Mil USD to develop an industrial city over an area of 5,000,000M2. The industrial development include a 250 MW Power Station that will provide electrical power to 250,000 homes and it should cover 50% of the current power shortage in the city.

All Major Equipment for Samawah Power Plant have arrived in Um Qasar Port, Basra, Iraq which includes two frame 9 gas turbines, 2 generators, 2 auxiliary units and 2 transformers to produce 250MW of Electricity.
